Two members of Team Pacquiao will grace Friday's SCOOP sa Kamayan weekly forum at the Kamayan Restaurant in Padre Faura St., Manila.

Manny Pacquiao’s famed American Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach and conditioning coach Alex Ariza will be present to give updates on the Filipino boxing superstar’s progress in his preparation for his 12-round slugfest against Puerto Rican champion Miguel Cotto.

Cotto is the reigning ruler of the World Boxing Organization’s (WBO) welterweight class, set to face the challenge of pound-for-pound big boss Manny Pacquiao on Nov. 14 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Ariza will also give an assessment on Pacquiao’s fitness and conditioning going into the last three weeks of preparation for his showdown with Cotto dubbed “Firepower".

Roach, a three-time Trainer of the Year awardee, and Ariza are at the forefront of Pacquiao’s training camp in the country, the People’s Champ’s second time since his phenomenal rise in the sport.

Team Pacquiao has been holding training camp at the Shape Up Gym inside the Cooyesan Hotel in Baguio City since Sept. 21 then changed venues to Gerry Peñalosa’s gym in Mandaluyong City last Monday.

Aside from Roach and Ariza, Philippine national boxing coach Roel Velasco and members of the RP women’s team that will represent the country in the 3rd Asian Indoor Games in Hanoi, Vietnam this year, will also make their appearance in the forum. – GMANews.TV
